Mr. Dines has been the editor of THE DINES LETTER since 1968, and is one of the last of the original pioneers of Technical Analysis still publishing. Also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysis and Market Technician's Association. The Dines Letter is one of the best-known and oldest stock market newsletters of its type in the world. Mr. Gartman has been in the markets since August of 1974, upon finishing his graduate work from the North Carolina State University. He was an economist for Cotton, Inc. in the early 1970's analyzing cotton supply/demand in the US textile industry. From there he went to NCNB in Charlotte, N. Carolina where he traded foreign exchange and money market instruments. In 1977, Mr. Gartman became the Chief Financial Futures Analyst for A.G. Becker & Company in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Gartman was an independent member of the Chicago Board of Trade until 1985, trading in treasury bond, treasury note and GNMA futures contracts. In 1985, Mr. Gartman moved to Virginia to run the futures brokerage operation for the Virginia National Bank, and in 1987 Mr. Gartman began producing The Gartman Letter on a full time basis and continues to do so to this day. Mr. Gartman has lectured on capital market creation to central banks and finance ministries around the world, and has taught classes for the Federal Reserve Bank's School for Bank Examiners on derivatives since the early 1990's. Paul Lennox's broad background in finance serves him well in his responsibilities at Custom House. David Morgan, founder of the Silver Investor, started investing in the stock market well before turning 18 years of age. He then spent four years earning a degree in Engineering. Later he went on to obtain a degree in Finance and Economics. Several years ago, Mr. Morgan put his life long study of free-market economics to work researching the economy, stock market behavior, precious metals, especially silver. Although very familiar with gold, Mr. Morgan believed that silver needed more exposure and would be utilized increasingly as technology continued to demand more and more of the metal. Dr. Sherry Cooper is in constant demand as a speaker and writer because of her ability to simplify and de-mystify the complex subjects of economics and finance. Dr, Cooper is regularly quoted in the financial press and you have heard her often on radio and TV. This will be Dr. Cooper’s third book on demographics, economics and the financial markets. Following five years at the Fed, she joined the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) as director of financial economics. Since 1983, she has been chief economist of BMO Nesbitt Burns, and in January 2007 was appointed to her current role in BMO Capital Markets. WILLIAM STERLINGWilliam Sterling is well known on Wall Street as an investment strategist with a unique global perspective. He is currently head of global equities for Credit Suisse Asset Management. His staff manages more than $30 billion in equity investments, and he directly oversees more than $5 billion in global and international funds, working for New York-based BEA Associates, an affiliate of Credit Suisse Asset Management. After obtaining a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, Sterling worked as an economist for Merrill Lynch in Tokyo in the late 1980s during Japan's financial market boom. From 1989 to 1995 he headed Merrill's international economics group and conducted research on trends in international interest rates, exchange rates, and money flows to emerging markets.
